FAO offers training on forests and Paris Agreement transparency

Residents of Bogotá are invited to participate in the virtual course "Forests and transparency under the Paris Agreement," organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The training is aimed at forestry authorities, environmental professionals, and students in related fields.

The curriculum consists of three 30-minute lessons covering the Paris Agreement, national forest monitoring systems, and the use of forest data. Participants who complete the course and pass the final exam with a minimum score of 75% will receive a digital certification from the FAO. The application period remains open until February 28, 2027.
