Cheonggye A01 Autonomous Bus to Begin Nighttime Service on October 22

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced that the Cheonggye A01 autonomous bus will begin nighttime operations at 7 PM on Thursday, October 22. The service will cover a 4.8-kilometer round-trip route between Cheonggye Plaza and Gwangjang Market.

The buses will operate on weekdays from 7 PM to 11:50 PM, running nine trips per day at 30-minute intervals. The service will not operate on weekends or public holidays. While the service will be free during the initial period, passengers are required to tap their transit cards when boarding. The initiative aims to connect downtown cultural attractions and local businesses to support the city's nighttime economy.
